I wouldn’t be a growler,
I wouldn’t be a bear
I wouldn’t be an owlet,
Always on a stare;
I wouldn’t be a monkey.
Doing foolish tricks;
I wouldn’t be a donkey.
Full of sullen kicks;
I wouldn’t be a goose,
Nor a peacock full of pride.
But I would be a big boy,
With a pocket on each side.
